Welcome. My name is Kaila, the face behind the brand, Beauty Bar Therapy. I have always loved going to my local beauty salon to be pampered as often as I could. For every woman this is a special experience, where you can walk in feeling stressed from your day and walk out feeling confident and yourself once again.
After being in the Health and Fitness industry for over 7 years and having the drive and passion for women’s health and wellness,
I began the creation of my own retreat for women everywhere to come and be pampered and feel alive through my business.
Every client who steps through our doors is nurtured through a tailored treatment plan created just for them. We take the time to understand your individual needs and ensure treatments are tailored to each skin concern, with a focus on resurfacing and refining our clients complexions, perfecting their brows and illuminating their lashes.

In a period when everything is impersonal and industrialized, we decided to become a personalized company. This becomes obvious not only from the personal devotion of its founders in research and formulation of cosmetics but it is also proved by our product lines; It is also obvious from the specialized ingredients used as well as from the formulas’ results.
When we are asked why we include so many codes in our product lines, the answer is that we decided to offer a personalized composition to meet each woman’s needs. We promised to offer the professional beautician the chance to choose from an amazing array of treatments based on their own experience and expertise. Based on our personal and professional values, we came up with our own concept – The personal professional concept. And it guides every step of our course.

Excellent quality of ingredients, maximum safety and effectiveness are not the only principles of our laboratories. Our group of scientists has also developed a personal professional scientific attitude to research, time and diagnosis.
There are no no’s in research.
There are merely needs for beauty requiring specific answers immediately and consistently. That is how our mission begins.
No… is not an acceptable word. Despite the difficulty of a problem no is not an acceptable word. However, two no’s are permitted, since they consist and affirmation. No no’s. We are here to provide solutions and we consistently work to evolve them.
Time cannot stop.
However, it can be slowed down.
That is exactly what our mission is. To slow down the time. To make time lapse on the skin more slowly. Slow time. This is our scientific relation with time.
What happens when wrinkles increase? Science can retard the process, but time is time. For us, even a sixty years old woman can feel good in her skin, when she takes care of it using personal professional products. Our message is clear. Do not give up. No time.

Some talk about skin types, we talk about skin mood.
Some talked about dryness… we talk about mood.
Some talked about wrinkles… we talk about damage.
Skin mood. That is how diagnosis is translated to us, taking steps beyond the definitions of sensitive, dry, and oily skin and proceeding to a more holistic… more specific… more personal professional diagnosis.
Not all normal skins age at the same pace.
Not all dry skins are affected by the environment to the same extent. A serum cannot have the same effect even on similar skin types.
That is why we targeted at beauty professionals who can diagnose each person’s skin mood and recommend specific, personalized treatments.
That is the reason why we created multidimensional products: to achieve maximum efficiency for every skin mood.
A story of personal creation…
The company was established in 1992 when chemists Michalis Papaefstratiou and Ioulia Armagou decided to enter the beauty industry, develop new formulas and apply personal values to their laboratory work.

A strong, personal commitment…
Since 1992, cosmetology has changed dramatically. Contemporary demands are particularly high. Today, cosmetics must be comparable to the effectiveness of plastic surgery. The company continues to work with passion, continuously searching for the next formula, the next combination, the next innovation.
1992: The chemists Ioulia Armagou and Michalis Papaefstratiou establish Juliette Armand and focus their work on the research of highly effective new formulas.
1993: The Notabilia cream is created and runs a very successful course. Its advanced formula (Extra Moisturizing 24h Cream) can effectively compete with later-developed creams.
1996: A pioneer in the use of hyaluronic acid, Juliette Armand creates a wide range of serums in defense of their high effectiveness. In serum form active ingredients are present in maximum content; 21st century cosmetology has just begun.
2001: The company is established in Athens, at state-of-the-art, privately-owned, integrated premises, constantly investing in sophisticated equipment, new procedures, research, new products and well-trained scientific personnel. Production process complies with the European Union’s Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for cosmetics.
2004: Skin Boosters anti-surgery system
The innovative EFFECTOX™ technology by Juliette Armand stops cellular contraction, by minimizing expression lines (muscle ageing). This discovery by Juliette Armand laboratories marked the success of the SKIN BOOSTERS anti-surgery system, Cosmetology’s alternative to botox, eyelid surgery, chemical peeling, mesotherapy and liposuction. With Skin Boosters, your appointment with the plastic surgery is indefinitely …postponed!
2005: elements of evolution
A complete professional line of high-end products, the elements of evolution for face and body beauty and health, a new, complete method of combined action and total treatment of all skin conditions! 175 products available to cover the needs of the most demanding skin types.
2006: A-2 BLOCKERS is a chrysanthemum herbal extract that has brought about a revolution to body care products. It specifically blocks a2 receptors, ensuring a non-stop lipolysis process.
2008: The new SUNFILM sunscreen line by Juliette Armand meets the very real needs for increased sun protection, in accordance to the 2006/647/EC decision by the European Union. The line contains ANTITOX™, a powerful cocktail of new-generation antioxidants which prevents DNA damage from sun rays, repairs DNA, prevents irritations and erythema, protects from pollution and prevents ageing.
2010: The company implements the ISO 9001 quality control system for research and development, manufacturing, packaging and marketing of cosmetics, as certified by TÜV Austria certificate.
2011: The two professionals remain shareholders and the company is 100% Greek. Since 2011 Stratis Papaefstratiou Armagos (Chemical engineer) and Vassilis Papaefstratiou Armagos (B.Sc.Finance & Mathematics, M.Sc. Computing Science) have also joined “Juliette Armand” shareholder group which means that the second generation launches its contribution to the company.
2013: The anti-surgery answer that SKIN BOOSTERS give against plastic surgery the last years is now renewed and strengthened.
All Juliette Armand cosmetics are manufactured in our laboratories in accordance to the European Union’s Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for cosmetics and always with the personal supervising from the scientists – founders of the company.
Every process of the company including research and distribution is certified by the international quality standard of ISO 9001:2008 that ensures that our operations are performed within the confines of increasing strictness quality management system. The procedure and quality audits are carried out by the highly renowned international certification group TÜV Austria.
Packaging
The packaging process follows high standards in order to ensure final customer’s safety in every stage.
Juliette Armand packages are selected to provide:
– Functionality, easy to use, reliability and long resistance
– High aesthetics, within the modern design concept
– Leak – tightness, for the guarantee of product
– Safety with the product sealed before use
– Environmentally friendly inert materials
– Elimination of additional volume and weight (thieves, excessive papers), so that neither the environment nor the cost of product is overloaded (due to the increased expenses of storage and transportation)
The company is headquartered in Athens, the capital of Greece, in a contemporary designed building, which is a vertically integrated, high quality production facility.
In our building there is a department of new product’s research and development (R&D), a production and packaging department, modern laboratories for quality control, the marketing department and the administration offices.
In our branch in Thessaloniki we have a customer service department, beauty professional training department and a storage department in order to support all the North area of Greece. In the same time this is the centre of Julliette Armand export activity in the Balkans.
